Let me explain to u a thing.

Your writing is remarkable. I don't know jack about your canon- at least, I didn't know jack about Penumbra. Despite that, you have this awesome and insane ability to pull me in and let me feel like I'm walking away with a clear understanding of your character and, despite the fact that you're ballsy enough to take the risks to make Philip a kind of major dick, you still manage to make him sympathetic enough for me to really feel for him. It takes mad skills to play a character so standoffish and at such a low point and yet make the reader still really root for him.

Despite our character's previous CR, even if I'd known the canon, that doesn't really matter. Your portrayal of him is just so engaging that I seriously dig each and every thread we do, and I seriously hope you're around for a hell of a lot longer so we can do a hell of a lot more. I'm stupid glad you didn't drop him, because it'd be a legitimate shame. Your tags may take some time, but they are well and truly worth the wait.

I almost wanted to go anon and let you guess, but I'd probably be too obvious anyway 8| SO SCRATCH THAT. And even if I've said these things a million times, I find it important to repeat, not only for reassurance's sake but also because glorious things need to be... well, glorified. I've followed your progress over nearly three years now, first as your stalker, and then as your admirer. Even as we began writing together you were such an inspiration for me, and you're what made me stay in the RP world. You're what made me enjoy it all over again. You showed me talent and dedication, the kind of skill I'd never seen outside of books. I can almost hear you go OMG BIAAAAAAAAAASED, so I'll kindly ask you to PLEASE SHUT UP!!!! before you even go there 8| Because it's not bias. I was sincerely impressed the second I saw you in that community we shall not name, way before we became friends, and that first image I had of your utter knack for characterization never faded. If anything it only increased, because it's not merely limited to one character. When you pick up a muse, you don't just play them; you give them everything they need to live through you, and that's why they seem so believable. Your style has personality, and you know how to word your scenes so that they sound like the character you play. It's easy to align words one after the other; it's much harder to bring them to life, which is one thing you do amazingly well. Your characters are credible, and you know how to keep your prose refreshing, even when you don't even seem to realize the changes. They aren't super obvious, but they're there, and these skills make you much more than a RPer. They make you a writer.

Bilbo and Éowyn are no exceptions. You picked her up on impulse and BAM. First line and you already had her figured out. I miss older muses dearly but it's a delight to read them both, and you should never doubt that you do them justice. Whether you choose a casual style or a more prosey tone, all the elements to make your tags engaging are there, and they both are a great addition to the fandom.

All I can say is, keep up the great work, really! But I've no doubt that you will 8)

I love interacting with your Emery. I love it to bits and pieces and he is the biggest cutie I can't even.

That said -- and let me preface this by saying it's neither inherently positive nor negative -- you're playing him much more sexual than he is in canon. He is an AU, and that's a legitimate direction to take, but he shows very little interest in sex/romance canonly.

How much of that is inherent to his character is debatable -- certainly his life in Camelot isn't conducive to sex/romance at all. He's got no time for it, he can't get close to anyone, he's upset that he kiss-of-death'd Freya, Camelot culture is possibly less open about sex? etc. In a modern setting, it's plausible he'd be more comfortable with sex and sexuality.

Not saying it's OOC, especially since this is an AU and it's plausible. Just mentioning that it caught me by surprise.
