Hey! I'm so glad you're finding him fun to interact with -- this is my first time throwing him into a game, so I'm still a bit at sixes and sevens when it comes to cross-canon cr. To get positive feedback so soon is fabulous! Thank you very much.

I do find the second part of your comment very interesting, though, albeit in a good way. Can I ask what it is about him that you're finding particularly sexual? Thus far he's shown no flirtatious, romantic or sexual interest in anyone; I mean, it's fun to be silly on plurk and in memes, but hey, that's plurk and memes. In-game I'm at a bit of a loss for the behaviour you're referencing. It'd be great to let me know -- I don't want to be sexing him up without realising it!

I'm also of the opinion that Merlin's canon lack of romantic interest is mostly due, not just to the fast pace of life as a servant, but to the overarching and complete importance of his destiny itself. He does find girls attractive -- we see this with Nimueh early on -- but romantic distractions drop off the shelf of priorities pretty quickly. As you said, he has no time for anything other than trying to fulfil the fate he's been given -- it makes sense that he's oblivious to all else save Arthur and Camelot. In this AU, however, Emery has had 21 blissful years of Arthur-free life: no destiny, no magic, no reason to do anything other than discover himself. I find it difficult to believe that he'd not have had a couple of crushes during high-school / time to get to know what sex and sexuality means to him.
