you've said on a lot of cr memes how character x means y to your characters, but your characters don't seem to act how you say they do. as an example, when you say someone is friends with zatanna, reading a thread between her and a close friend comes off as zatanna talking to a complete stranger unless it's a castmate. there's just an air that your characters really don't give two shits about other people unless they are castmates or more importantly are part of a ship with your character. i can tell you right now that threads with zatanna and robin have a lot more spark than threads with non castmates and the same goes for midii and aang if the shipping list is to be believed.

tl;dr: if you say oocly that character x means a lot to your characters, you need to do a better job of portraying icly that because so many of your threads read like your characters would rather be somewhere else with someone else.

This is something I hadn't really noticed until you brought it up, anon, so thank you for bringing it to my attention.

I try to treat all my tags fairly, and while I admit that Midii and Zatanna's close CR does often have more feeling behind it, this was something I had figured just reflected off their personalities; a lot of what they say holds more meaning in tone than words, which can be difficult to translate to written text at times. Zatanna, in particular, can often be heard on the show speaking to some people with a much more casual/borderline indifferent tone than she tends to use when speaking with/addressing Robin.

I spoke with a few friends on Plurk about this concern, and they gave me some ideas on how I can improve. To start, I'll go back and compare some of my more recent threads to see where I might have accidently gone astray. See what I've been doing "right" in their closer CR threads that I've apparently been doing "wrong" in others. And I've made it clear that if there is anybody that I have somehow inadvertently offended by this, to know that it was not my attention and they have my most sincere apologies.
