oh my god, i was so not ready for this little love note! it's making me do that reflexive modesty thing and wanting to tell you to stahp. but i will resist the thing and just simply say thank you.

i likewise really enjoy your writing. i've loved playing with your other characters obvious, but elena's the one i have the most experience with. and she is my most favorite elena out there because you don't treat her like a perfect snowflake. you let her make mistakes and struggle and grow. and it's so beautiful and wonderful watching you take her to new heights and places. i love that i have been included in that journey as far as cr goes. it's been incredibly rewarding and i feel super honored and lucky to play with you.

moreover, i am really glad that we are friends. i totally meant what i said that one time about how weird it is not to have a pplurk with you going so we can just chat about everything. i don't usually get that attached to people so quickly, but idk. you melted my heart from day one. i've really appreciated how supportive you've been with the various things i've talked to you about. i love hearing your thoughts and opinions. you are such a clever gal.

you know it means the world to me that you think i've been doing elena justice. yours is perfection to me, so outside of the fact your opinion means a lot, it's weighted with the understanding you really get this character, her motivations, what feels right with her and what doesn't. i've enjoyed stalking her TLV life. she makes me laugh and she makes me cry and every time she has a little victory, i'm right there with her, and that's the sign of a great writer. i love every thread you've given me with my own elena, from our very first ones with damon, to aveline and henry, and everything in between. she's a much richer character for it.

and YOU. when i think to how intimidated i was at the beginning, i think of how silly i was, because you've been nothing short of encouraging, welcoming, and lovely to me. i love that we can exchange corgi pictures and also talk about the deeper stuff, without ever missing a beat. you've become an incredibly important friend to me and that will remain true inside and outside of rp!!!

basically swap out my elena for your elena and those are all the things i feel about yours tbh. like i'm negl, i think it's really impressive that elena has been in games for so long when you take into account her crau and she is the way she is when you write her. like she has been through such a completely different journey than canon took her (and a much better one because holy shit) and yet she is still so recognizably elena.

especially since each and every one of those characters you have mentioned, she has challenged in her own unique elena way. but even if it wasn't elena and one of your others, tbh, i'm sure i'd see a lot of results because man, cr with you is just so goddamn satisfying. tbh i still go back and read some of our threads together and just sigh dreamily over 'em.
