Man, I'm so biased but who cares!!!

One of the things I love about threading with you is that you juggle really well the level of ICness with making a thread/interaction work. You don't really sacrifice one for the other, but rather manage to balance each other out. You're very easy to thread with because you always leave hooks. Your introspection is really good to make me understand your characters motivations and you don't need like, too many words to work it into body language so it all flows really well. Your writing is so good, man, I literally want another thread every time we end one but I'm a greedy piece of shit!! AREN'T U GLAD WE MET??

Character specific, I really love your Shepard. Like, it's not a character that is easy to make... "IC", in the sense that you can take a lot of approaches with malleable characters like that (lol bioware), but even so, as a Mass Effect player, I can totally see your Shepard in any playthrough - though with your own nuances to her. Which is another thing you do really well and it's kind of gross. (ur being ooc cus she doesnt say "i should go" enough)

As for Max, he's really new but what I'm seeing I'm liking. Your writing style fits really well the character? I don't know how to explain it, but the way you write him is so good. Like, a mixture of your own nuanced style and Max's inner thoughts. It's stilted, but it makes sense? I DON'T KNOW HOW TO ENGLISH. To be honest I'm really excited to see what path he'll take in your hands because I looove seeing you develop characters and shit.

On that note, I WISH YOU TOOK MORE CHANCES IN DEVELOPING CHARACTERS LIKE... sometimes I think you hold back because you are afraid people might think it's too uuch/too out there but tbh you should trust your skills more. You're kinda ah, uuuhhh... Character writer? More than anything, as far as I can tell, so you should really own up that skill!

Thank you for the kind words and the notes! I definitely think you're right about the whole needing to be more adventurous about developing character forward - I think I have a tendency to play an (EXTREMELY, JESUS CHRIST) long game that isn't always satisfying to read or, tbh, write or, honestly, play off of because of...reasons? feeling beholden to canon? feeling weird about wearing my melodrama heart too obviously on my sleeve? But it's a good note and thank you for passing it along, I'm definitely taking it under consideration and already have some things percolating on the horizon for crushing Shepard in CDC like a cheap aluminum can. :,)
