I like your RP. I generally enjoy your characters, I think by and large you have a good grasp of them, you're friendly and open to new CR and I never feel like I wouldn't be welcome if I asked to get some CR with you.

I am a little uncertain how I feel about Dorian and Fenris' relationship, and that's not just about you, it's Fenris' mun too, I just... I feel like they got over the shit they needed to work out to even be FRIENDS (just given the disparate lives they had within the same culture, and Fenris' slavery and so forth) was glossed over or worked through in a night or whatever.

That's really my only crit, though, and it's for both of you not JUST you, and like I said, I really do love playing off of you because you are really welcoming and fun.

I totally understand! Honestly there were a lot of things that went into why their CR happened so fast and I'll admit that I expect that you have a super common PoV here.

When I play out Dorian and Fenris in the future it will be a much slower progression. They got a huge jump start with the stuff that happened with Nel- that was really make or break for them, and it happened when Dorian was only a week in.

But trust me, they still have a lot of things to unpack. Even in a relationship, they still have things that they need to sort out about the other (it was just last month that they had an argument about slavery and such, but I haven't updated their thread listing because I've been busy). TF and I are for certain going to address these things because we both agree that this ship isn't all sunshine and rainbows. There's going to have to be a lot of work put into it to make it work properly.

So I hope that helps! They haven't completely worked past everything they need to- it's going to be messy and complicated and that doesn't mean it's bad necessarily. They both just have a lot of baggage to unpack still.

Good! That's actually encouraging to know. :) Both that it was not really a usual way it would happen and that just because they've gotten past the most immediate hurdles they havne't worked past everything.

Oh for sure. A big issue with them is that they don't communicate things very well, especially on Dorian's end. He's great at talking bullshit but honestly he isn't so good at talking about things that really matter. Especially with Fenris, he held back from talking about things like slavery and stuff because he knew it would piss Fenris off. Dorian really wanted Fenris to accept him because it validated to him that he really wasn't like the evil Magisters back home.

So now that he knows he won't run him off, they need to sit down and work out a lot of the things that have been ICly glossed over. I really look forward to writing this stuff as much as I do with writing cute fluff and everything else. They still have a fair way to go! We're just getting started.

Our recent threads have been pretty much just RP junk food because I've had a lot going on for the past month and haven't really had the chance to sit down and really dig in, but it'll happen! Don't mistake that for everything being perfectly okay. As with any relationship in RL, they both have a lot of work to do here.

Just poking in to say that trust me, it really isn't sunshine and rainbows. The Nel stuff definitely changed things in a way they wouldn't have otherwise- at least not so soon. But yeah, they really aren't as okay as they look. Eventually, all the stuff both of them have been holding back is going to spill over and it'll no doubt be messy, as neither of them are good at dealing with their emotions.

So yeah, things may look okay now, but I promise you it's got a whole lot of mess to go through before they're anywhere near as okay as they look.

Oh wow and forgot to add, because some people might not realise, Fenris isn't straight from canon. He's been stuck in Exsilium for nearly a year before coming to the game, where he was forced to deal with a lot of his uh... issues concerning magic and mages.

Basically this ship was able to happen because of some non-canonical things happening, had they not, they wouldn't have got as close as they did so fast.
