     ☑ HOW'S MY DRIVING MEME

All of us have those moments where we are uncertain about our characterization. Sometimes feedback is the best medicine! So, step on up and post your roleplay accounts and the games you have them in. Let others come by and tell you how you're doing and let others know what you think! Give legitimate reasons and not just "I love you!" Save that for our monthly love memes.

If there are any problems, please report them HERE and we will take care of it as soon as we can.

!PLEASE READ: There have been instances of anon bullying & threats in both the HMD and Love memes, so we wanted to stress how important it is that you bring this to us if it happens. Don't ignore something just because you think it's "too small" to bring to us.

Also, please be considerate of the players browsing this meme! Try to limit the amount of graphics and sparkle texts you use while commenting to others!

no, we didn't discuss it with the other players, and both of us realize now that that was a thing we should have done. we discussed it with the one character who realistically would have noticed something was up that was all. i'm not a perfect person, and this never came across my mind because i honestly thought with as laid-back as the game is that it wouldn't be as big as an issue that it has become. but like i said before, we did want to try and give us something to do in-game that would get us much more excited about it and we had tentative ideas that would have potentially involved another character. what's done is done, and i don't think it's going to matter much anymore anyway.

you really should have spoken to your castmates. no matter what way you look at it, it's inconsiderate to do to them, let alone potential applicants

the game is laid back, yes, but you aren't being attacked so much as people are bringing you a legitimate concern because it will effect how they play. nobody expects you to be perfect, but having regard for others helps and i hope you will have more in the future

well, if a castmate has an issue with it i'd like them to contact me and i can discuss everything to them in private-- things i'd not like to discuss over a public forum. also, any potential applicant has to take into account a game where castmates have had over a year to develop. while this is a little more drastic than a lot of cr has gone, it's still a concern that all roleplayers have to consider. i'm also not going to stifle myself when i'm happy with a group of people that are in-game just because i may be scaring other people off, no one should be on their toes just because someone else may be looking into the game (which i highly doubt, considering adstring's history and the atla/lok fandom right now as a whole).

it's a legitimate concern for perhaps three people in-game and any of those three are free to contact me about it if they want to. the amount of attacks i have received are far more than three, but i shouldn't have to be extra considerate to people that it will not effect at all, don't you think?

i think you should be considerate to everyone as a rule, and nobody's asking you to "stifle yourself". just consider your environment and the people around you who will be effected. it's not what you're playing, it's the fact that you're playing it in a game, involved in a social hobby where other people need to be respected too

one player has already decided not to app into the cast if another anon discussion community is anything to go by, so the actions of the both of you are directly affecting the game

while i'm sorry that you have been attacked, please do not let it invalidate the concerns that are being brought to you right now.

That's basically what you're asking them to do by considering their environment and the players also in the game. While considering others is a great practice that everyone should do, you're still asking them to "stifle themselves" by not playing out the situation in the game. You're pretty much telling them that this is something they can't do because it's ruining things for so-and-so.

Whether the player in question apping into the cast does or doesn't go through with their application based solely on this whole thing, that's their own prerogative. If they app then that's great, and if they don't app in then that's too bad. The decisions of these two aren't affecting the game, it's only affecting the cast. You can argue that this player apping into the game to play in the cast does affect the game, but really it doesn't. Not on a whole. Not the way you're making it out to be.

This is not the place, anon. Please let her speak for herself when people bring her concrit. These are only concerns and no one is attacking her by pointing them out.

Anon is enabled for a reason, anon. But nowhere in my reply was I attacking my fellow anon or abusing it. Anon pointed out concerns and I'm pointing out the flaws in said concerns.

i understand your concerns, but if my game was concerned about effecting the game-- a member wouldn't have linked the locked log that no one can even read and brought this to everyone's attention they would have just approached me themselves to discuss the issues they had with it.

i feel as if i've made my stance clear and no longer need to defend what me and the zuko-mun have developed in the game, but i will keep your words in mind.
