I'm going to echo the anon before me in saying that I think you have a good grasp of Zelda's voice when she is not speaking of her relationship with SS-Link/speaking to SS-Link.
"I am not saying that you are doing that, only that it could certainly be a possibility based on Zelda's portrayal, which certainly seems to be more OoC with regarding her relationship with Link as opposed to her conversations that don't involve him."

It's really only during those interactions that she has sounded OOC, her reactions being stretched beyond belief for her as she is depicted in canon. The larger issue is that such interactions have been the vast majority of what you've shown her of us. You aren't tagging out so far as I can tell, and outside of her intro post, she has only interacted with her cast and it has only been about her relationship with SS-Link.

Because of this, IMO, it does come off as extreme ship-pushing. It is my understanding that SS-Link mun enabled you into the game, so I expect the ship was intended to happen, but as it stands, if it does happen a this point, it will not feel natural. It will feel contrived.

The conflict they are having could have happened and been resolved in an IC manner and would have been more IC had it not been so obviously, well, forced. Mood whiplash is what I got reading the last thread she had with SS-Link after reading all the threads she'd had before that. There were multiple conversations Zelda had with people where she was getting many of the same answers and she stubbornly refused to consider that those answers could be right. And then she is suddenly rethinking her own reactions. While she sounded the most IC in that thread, there was no indication in any of her previous interactions that she was being at all convinced to stop ignoring what she was being told an really think about it.

I think she has a good possibility of rising from this if you can stop focusing on interactions between her and the rest of her cast, and start focusing on tagging outside the cast. Develop and encourage her voice without the restriction SS-Link being nearby is obviously causing, and then step back in to playing off him. Zelda needs to be played as herself, not as an accessory tied to Link's arm.
